The fifth generation of the Subaru Impreza already knows it for other markets as it was presented in the former Hall of New York. However, the slight changes that will suffer for its sale in the old continent have not yet been unveiled. To carry out the long-term implementation of this important model, the Japanese house has decided to take it to the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The new Subaru Impreza will arrive on our streets on the new global modular platform that has developed the brand. Thanks to its use the rigidity of the whole will be much greater, but also will have new suspensions that allow you to offer an even lower center of gravity. Also, the fifth generation Impreza will be on sale with two types of body, one hatchback, and another sedan cut.
On this new platform, Subaru will continue to use its reputed boxer engines (diesel and petrol) and all-wheel drive. Thanks to the combination of both variables and the new technology and safety systems that will include, the Impreza will be one of the safest cars in its class. The package Eye Sight Subaru groups among others attending the adaptive cruise control, braking or autonomous city surveillance system blind spot.
Aesthetically, the exterior design of the fifth generation of the Subaru Impreza does not undergo a radical change from its previous iteration. The designers of the Japanese house have decided to evolve a design that they like in all the markets where the car is for sale. Logically they have updated some lines, like the grill and frontal lights next to a bumper that gives greater visual impact to the set.
Regarding the interior design of the Subaru Impreza, the signature follows the same pattern that has followed for the exterior. If something works do not have to be touched a lot, so they have focused on introducing a new dashboard with lines reminiscent of that of their range brothers. In it, quality will make a leap forward, as will the infotainment system and the touch screen with generous dimensions.
